The quartet led by Luigi Grasso pays tribute to the historic “jazz routes†, playing classics ranging from bebop and standards to original compositions. The intention is to revive the freshness and spontaneity to the music typical of the immediately post war period.
Luigi Grasso started studying classic and jazz music at hte age of 4, his tutors include Agostino di Giorgio (pupil of the historical guitarist Chuck Wayne) and the legendary pianist and teacher Barry Harris.
From 2000 to 2009 he has performed at the most important jazz festivals and in theatres in France, Holland, Germany, Russia, Norway, Switzerland, Austria etc.
He performed for the first time in the States in 2008 and enjoyed enormous success at prestigious jazz venues
