Kicca & Intrigo

Kicca’s playful voice is a happy breath of fresh air, full of intense emotion, accompanied by Oscar’s incomparable rhythm and harmony flowing from his left hand while never-ending melodies seep out from under the right in response to the alluring kaleidoscope of sound that is Kicca's voice.

Kicca and Oscar made their home in Paris in 2005 where the influence of so many cultures has brought them new opportunities to explore other musical traditions and new languages, and where they have been working with musicians including Salah Khaili (drums), Blue Lou Marini (sax), Francesco Bearzatti (sax), Edmundo Carneiro (percussions), Hervé Samb (guitar), and many others.

Their musical genres include boogaloo, soul and jazz, inspired by Northern Soul.
In collaboration Oscar Marchioni, Kicca continues to write and compose music.
