The explosive ingredients of this remarkable trio are the result of Kenn Bailey’s extraordinary voice coupled with the passionate, rhythmic force of Michele Bonivento’s Hammond and the force of Francesco Casale’s drumming.

Drawing on the soul tradition, Gamma 3 captivate their audiences with their intense sensitivity, unusual sound and musicianship.

Gamma 3 are characterised by the Hammond and Fender Rhodes sound of Michele Bonivento, classic 1960s instruments; and the irresistible voice of Kenn Bailey, reminiscent of contemporary singers such as Robin Thike, John Legend, and  evergreens such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder.

On this occasion they will preview their new CD “Take Flight”.

Kenneth Bailey, singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, was born in Nottingham, UK, in 1979. His early aptitude for music was nurtured by his parents both involved in the Church of God, where he developed his flair for Gospel singing. As an adult he furthered his studies at the Bologna Music Academy as a sax player specialising in Jazz and contemporary music, which suited his tastes and explorative nature. This ran parallel to his work as a vocalist, with which has already taken great steps with collaborations with noted artists and studios.

Michele Bonivento is one of Italy’s foremost Gospel and soul pianists and organists who has worked with top artists including Joyce Yuille, Cheryl Porter, Kay Foster Jackson, Ian Siegal, Dana Gillespie, Vincent Williams and many others. He has also played on over 30 CDs.

Francesco Casale, draws on 30 years of stage experience and is one of Italy’s finest and most eclectic drummers, working alongside top performers such as Joe Diorio, Albert Lee, Rey Mantila, Hugo Here-dis, Rudy Brink and many other historical musicians. His irresistible “verve” explodes during every concert!
