TOMMASO CAPPELLATO - drums
Special guest: FRANCESCO BIGONI - tenor sax

A trio of young up-and-coming musicians featuring diverse jazz genres performed with taste and skill, all extremely personal and already mature.
The trio comprises three of the most striking new talents to emerge in Italy in recent years: seventeen year-old Alessandro Lanzoni from Florence, a splendid and promising jazz pianist, a compelling player in a thoughtful vein, already far more than promising with a real feeling and invention in his playing
and three albums, a multitude of awards and a long list of eminent concerts and collaborations under his belt.
Twenty-one year-old double bass player Gabriele Evangelista from Livorno, an excellent soloist and interpreter of both chamber and orchestral music with a passion for jazz.
And Tommaso Cappellato, the veteran of the group who took up the drums aged 11 and left Italy in 1996 to enrol in courses at the Drummers Collective in New York City. During his nine-year stay there he took part to several musical projects playing all styles of music (traditional, soul, funk through to avant-garde) and explored various countries to meet, learn from and collaborate with influential musical artists.
